Assoc. Professor, Dr. Tran Thi Thanh Tu, President cum Manager, VNU Hanoi Foundation. She earned Bachelor Degree in Finance and Banking from from National Economics University in 1998, Master Degree in International Accounting from Swinburne University – Australia in 2006 and received a PhD in Finance from National Economics University in 2007 and promoted as Associate Professor in 2014. In 2018, she was a Fulbrighter at Massachussetts University, Lowell, and researched on Corporate Governance in financial institutions in US. She served as the Associate Dean and Dean of Finance and Banking Faculty, University of Economics, Vietnam National University Hanoi (VNUHN) in 10 years, Vice Rector of Vietnam Japan University, VNUHN, responsible for financial management and quality assurance for nearly 2 years. She has 24 years of experience in research, consulting and lecturing in the field of banking and finance. She has led and participated in many projects with national and international organizations such as the World Bank, Asian Development Bank, State Bank of Vietnam, Securities Commission, Ministry of Finance in the field of finance and banking, risk management. She has been consulting for many commercial banks and security companies. Her main interest areas are bank governance, green banking and risk management. She has more than 20 international publications and 30 national publications.
